Bruce Warren Chapin
Bruce Warren Chapin, 60, beloved husband of Mary Ellen (Garofalo) Chapin, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Dudley and Helen (Partridge) Chapin.

Bruce lived in Middletown the last thirty-five years and was a member of Third Congregational Church where he was a Deacon of the church and a past President. He was a Charter Organization Representative for the Pack 43 Cub Scouts and Troop 16 Boy Scouts. Bruce was an avid Boston Red Sox and Green Bay Packers fan and always enjoyed family vacations.

Along with his wife, Bruce is survived by two sons, Nathaniel Chapin and Christopher Chapin, both of Middletown and many special cousins.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sons, Travis and Tyler Chapin, his brother, Robert Chapin and his sister, Barbara Chapin.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 21 at 11:00 am at Third Congregational Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bruce's memory may be made to Third Congregation Church, 94 Miner Street, Middletown, CT 06457 or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Connecticut Chapter, 185 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, CT 06019.
