Richard Henry Peck
Richard Henry Peck, 84, of Cromwell, husband of Rosemary (Palma) Peck, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at his home with family by his side. Born in Hartford on July 26, 1932, he was the son of the late Henry and Silvia (Currier) Peck.

Richard lived most of his life in Cromwell, was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army, and worked as a skilled union glazier. He enjoyed trout fishing, duckpin bowling at Gillette's on Main Street in Middletown and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. His passion was a visit to the Mohegan Casino every time Greg or Sue came to visit.

Along with his wife, Richard is survived by three children, Gregory Peck and his wife, Felise of Georgia, Richard Peck and his wife Maria of Cromwell and Susan (Peck) Graham of Maine; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three sisters, Muriel Smith, Dolores Filanda and Eleanor Corciullo. He also leaves four stepchildren, Debbie Wolf, Donna Little, Mary Boyce and Freddy Nericcio, five step grandchildren, and three step great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his first wife, Rosita Edith (Marti) Peck, his son, David Peck and two brothers, Donald and Gerald Peck.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 18 at 11:00 am in Cromwell Hillside Cemetery West, 29 Hillside Road, Cromwell where full military honors will be accorded.

Family and friends may call on Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's memory may be made to The ALS Association Connecticut Chapter, 4 Oxford Road, Unit D4, Milford, CT 06460 or the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr. Wallingford, CT 06492.
